From teaching ukulele lessons to walking with a cane and grabbing pizza with my nephew, today was a big step forward in my recovery. Though still dealing with drainage from my incision, I felt stronger and more capable as the day went on.

Just last week, the pain was unbearable, but today, I experienced a shift, and for that, I am grateful.
